Reversible Holiday Blocks

My husband is a crafting machine. I wish I could take credit for these holiday blocks but I can not. He saw me pin it on Pinterest and replicated it for me for my birthday. He made one version of the holiday blocks with a different font and decided he did not like it. These blocks are made with the font “Jenna Sue.”

Here is the front, perfect for Thanksgiving!

Holiday Blocks

The total cost for this project was about $1.00 as we had plenty of scrap wood from a 1 x3 board, we used stencils made from Microsoft Word for the letters and had the little bottles of acrylic paint for the blocks, which usually go on sale 4 for $1.00 this time of year.

Two blocks are 7 inches, 2 blocks are 4 inches, and 2 are 3.5 inches. The “give block” is a scrap piece of 1 x 2 and is cut at 5 inches.

Happy Crafting!

  3. I guess great minds think alike…I did a very similar project myself this year! My sign was all one piece of wood, but one side said “give thanks” and the other said “jingle bells”. Stopping by via our new SITS tribe! Happy Monday.
